From the Founder’s desk:

First and foremost I thank you for taking time to go through our website and understanding us better. It gives me great amount of satisfaction to represent an organization that has started a journey, in a quest to make the Human Resources function truly appreciable to the growth and success of any organization or community.

Looking at the current global economic recession, one can only testify the decades of serious neglect all communities have shown towards nurturing human values. I am quite astonished at the pace at which countries and organizations have fallen on their knees. It is only best to term these phenomena as a “global epidemic”. Millions of job losses and many more to follow across various industries is the order of our daily living. One can never be sure whether they will have their jobs or worst if their organizations will survive the next day. Now while this crisis is being perceived as the toughest economic crisis since 1930’s by many experts, it is important for all of us to recognize this challenge in totality and start addressing it with immediate effect. The worst affected being developed countries like US and UK. Is there something that we can learn from this recession and build a stronger future? The answer is “Yes”, but then it is going to be one long persistent approach towards recognizing “human values”.

People often have asked me, how understanding human values can enable us create assignments that are truly role enriching, or how it can help us out of the job losses that we experience. There are no quick-fix answers; the solution lies in how we approach our daily living. We are part of a global change, where the cost of a commodity or service is no longer going to be determined by market sentiments alone, but also by the intrinsic value it provides for to end user.

In booming economies, which justified 300% salary increases year after year, the thoughts of homeless and starving millions in third world countries seldom crossed the minds of people. Are we not part of an exaggerated growth fuelled by greed? Isn’t this the real reason for the huge business losses we see today across the globe?

How then do we hope to set things right and where do we start?

It all starts with appreciating a few basic aspects of life. Let us look back at how economies and more interestingly we as individuals, bounced back from financial crises or personal losses or even, natural disasters. The approach, if we can recall, would have been one that makes us surrender to the reality of the situation, and starting a new chapter of life all over. Coming out of such situations would primarily need a re-assessing of resources that need to be built for the future, rather than ponder about what we have lost. Some of us, who have come out of such tough times sooner, would be the ones who are highly adaptable to change, while others who fail to accept this change would find the going tough. From a job market perspective, this would mean being open to taking on assignments that are not so monetarily rewarding initially or re-looking at your role to suit the job market, not just the ones that have a fancy job title.

I am also a firm believer in entrepreneurship; this is another way for individuals to embrace this change. People comment about not having the financial backing or courage to take this giant step in their careers. But then if one weighs the situation, this move could not only reveal the true potential within each individual but also make more purposeful and responsible business leaders. When resources options are limited and you still have to succeed, then there is no other way but value your tasks in hand, no matter how small or low value, it may sound.
